The Detroit Lions have had a lot of success on both sides of the ball season as they cruised to the NFC North title and then advanced past the Los Angeles Rams in the wild card round.

Head coach Dan Campbell is leading the charge for the Lions, but his coordinators are doing a tremendous amount of work turning both the offense and defense into solid units.

Offensive coordinator Ben Johnson is one of the most sought-after head coaching candidates this offseason, but he isn’t the only Detroit assistant garnering some attention from other teams.

Defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn is interviewing with two teams today, according to the NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport: The Washington Commanders and the Los Angeles Chargers.

Glenn recently interviewed with the Tennessee Titans as well.

He will then lead the Lions against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the divisional round at home on Sunday in one of the biggest games in franchise history.

So while it’s unclear how highly-coveted Glenn is compared with other candidates, there is now a greater-than-zero chance Detroit loses both coordinators to head coaching jobs this offseason much like the Philadelphia Eagles did this past season.

If that happens, Campbell’s ability to find replacements will be a major touchpoint in his career as head coach of the Lions.

He and Detroit general manager Brad Holmes have curated one of the best teams in the NFL in just three years, but might need to reconstruct a coaching staff this offseason if either or both Glenn and Johnson take bigger jobs.
