After a blowout loss to the San Francisco 49ers in Week 13, the Philadelphia Eagles hit the road for another marquee matchup against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 14.

The Eagles have been the best team in the NFL for most of the 2023 NFL season, but their loss to the 49ers put some doubt in fans’ minds about their chances of making it back to the Super Bowl.

Philadelphia still currently owns the No. 1 seed in the NFC, but Dallas and San Francisco could make a run for the top spot if they manage to run the table down the stretch.

The Eagles have the necessary talent and depth to hold their position, though a loss to the Cowboys would certainly put a damper on their odds.

For the time being though,  they’re still considered the favorites to earn that first-round bye in the 2023 NFL Playoffs via PFF.

It’s no surprise to see Philadelphia at the top of the list given they have the best record, but San Francisco is right on their heels.

Dallas being afforded only seven percent seems low, though that number figures to jump if they beat their NFC East rivals on Sunday.

Meanwhile, the Detroit Lions are in the mix though they would need a perfect storm of wins and losses from other teams to claim the No. 1 overall seed.

The end of the regular season is shaping up to be more exciting than initially anticipated, and it’ll be intriguing to see if the Eagles are able to hold on the rest of the way.
