Jalen Ramsey Has Honest Reaction To Potentially Covering Chiefs Star

The Kansas City Chiefs and Miami Dolphins will put on a show for the fans in Frankfurt, Germany, in a game that’s projected to be a bit of a shootout.

Still, the Dolphins will look to hold down the Chiefs offense, which will obviously be easier said than done.

Perhaps their best shot at doing that would be trying to nullify Patrick Mahomes’ No. 1 target: Travis Kelce.

With that in mind, Dolphins DC Vic Fangio claimed it was possible that he lines All-Pro CB Jalen Ramsey against him every now and then throughout the course of the game.

However, when asked about that, it seemed like it was news to Ramsey, who simply replied “we’ll see” (via David Furones).

Fangio stated that he’s lined up Ramsey all over the backfield, which is why he could be of use to try and slow down Kelce, if that’s even a possibility.

Ramsey has already squared off against Kelce once, allowing just one catch on five targets.

Nonetheless, that catch happened to be a 39-yard touchdown.

Kelce is a physical mismatch on every drop-back, not to mention an outstanding route-runner.

He ranks No. 1 among all players at his position in both receptions (54) and receiving yards (583) and that’s despite missing the first game of the season.

There’s no such thing as shutting down Kelce, but Ramsey is by far the best option the Dolphins have right now.
