Week 9 in the NFL features several marquee games.

Some of the week’s top matchups have significant indications on division races, as well as teams’ postseason odds and expectations.

One such matchup is between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Dallas Cowboys, one of the weekend’s most anticipated games.

Ahead of this matchup, Craig Carton’s crew broke down the game, identifying key factors to victory for both sides.

One of the biggest factors that Greg Jennings discussed was Dak Prescott’s role.

“Dak Prescott has struggled when he’s been expected to carry the load and win important games,” Jennings said.

Prescott’s Cowboys have played well in the regular season lately but struggled to make headway in the playoffs.

They lost in the divisional round last season to the San Francisco 49ers, a loss that was heavily criticized throughout the offseason.

If the Eagles come away from this game with a win, further questions will be asked about Prescott’s ability to lead this team moving forward.

Jennings does not believe Prescott is a big-game quarterback, a characteristic that is paramount in the NFL, especially in the playoffs.

Without the ability to win in crucial games during the regular season, it is a telling sign of what can and will transpire in the postseason.

Will Prescott begin to change that narrative?

The Cowboys have won four of the last five meetings with the Eagles.

They have found a way to get the job done against this team, despite routinely being underdogs, as they are again this week.
