Superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo really knows how to move the needle for the Milwaukee Bucks, as he headed into the NBA offseason upset that the team that was the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference was eliminated by the eighth-seeded Miami Heat in five games in the first round of the NBA playoffs.

Despite dealing with an injury, Antetokounmpo was so disappointed in his team during this short postseason run that he basically gave the Bucks franchise an ultimatum, which rocked the franchise to its core, even though the team didn’t initially let on that it did that.

Antetokounmpo let it be known that he would leave the team in the near future if he didn’t see the same kind of drive he has to win another championship in Milwaukee.

That forced the hand of the Bucks as the team’s front office got right to work on what they could do to improve the team immediately, resulting in the blockbuster trade to acquire superstar guard Damian Lillard.

It hasn’t been long into Lillard’s stint with the team, but he’s already made a considerable impact in Milwaukee, according to Front Office Sports via Ball Don’t Lie.

In three games thus far this season, the Bucks have beaten two of the best teams in the East, with wins over the Miami Heat and Philadelphia 76ers, as Lillard has put on a show while playing alongside Antetokounmpo.

This dynamic duo has put the league on notice, as it seems that chemistry won’t be a problem and that this team has one goal in mind moving forward, and that’s to win another title for the Bucks franchise.
