The Milwaukee Bucks had a little pre-Halloween scare on Monday night, as the Miami Heat almost came back from a big deficit to win the game.

That didn’t happen, however, and the Bucks scored another victory, but it was still surprising and frustrating.

Following the game, Giannis Antetokounmpo spoke about the game while dressed as The Incredible Hulk.

Although the image of Antetokounmpo as The Hulk was quite humorous, what he said was honest, reflective, and smart.

According to HoopsHype, Antetokounmpo said, “Once you’re up 20, you’ve got to put them away…We weren’t able to do that tonight. Hopefully, we can learn from this.”

The Bucks led by as many as 25 points at the start of the fourth quarter and seemed completely in control of the game.

But the Heat did what they often do and chipped away at the huge lead, eventually bringing the margin down to just six in the final minutes.

Much like The Hulk, Antetokounmpo showed some super strength and powered his team in the closing moments.

If the Bucks lost, it would have brought back painful memories of last season.

As everyone remembers, Milwaukee was favored to go all the way to the Finals but was then pushed out of the playoffs in the first round by the Heat.

For several reasons, the Bucks counted the Heat out, and they ended up regretting it.

If there is one lesson that Antetokounmpo and his team can take away from Monday night, it’s this: never discount the Heat, especially with their deep, impressive bench.
