Davante Adams Has Honest Admission After 1 Reception Game
When Davante Adams signed with the Las Vegas Raiders, it was a tough pill to swallow for Green Bay Packers fans.
Adams was a fan-favorite in Green Bay, but it seemed that he wanted to reunite with his college teammate, Derek Carr.
His first season in Las Vegas was favorable, as Adams and Carr seemed to pick up where they left off.
However, when Carr moved on to the New Orleans Saints, it left Adams alone, set to deal with a new quarterback.
His connection with Jimmy Garoppolo has not been as strong as with Carr, resulting in recent frustrations from Adams.
After a one-reception game against the Detroit Lions, in a conversation shared via Paul Gutierrez, Adams said “Honestly, I don’t know what to say at this moment.”
#Raiders WR Davante Adams: “Honestly, I don’t know what to say at this moment. I truly don’t. I wish I had the words to say something that’s not going to get blown up in the media and taken out of context, so I’m going to just, I truly, I just don’t know.”

For a player of Adams’ caliber, having a one-catch game seems like a statistical anomaly.
He has been one of the NFL’s most dynamic receivers over the past several years, mainly achieving success while tied to Aaron Rodgers and the Packers.
Now that he is on the Raiders without his friend Carr, things aren’t looking very positive for Adams.
Frustrations have been mounting over the last several weeks, and this conversation shared by Gutierrez confirms his feelings about his current situation.
Before this incident, the Raiders insisted that Adams would be sticking around for the long haul.
The team has publically stated that they do not intend to move him at the trade deadline.
Will his recent actions force them to change their tune?
