Hello Bgsu98. I felt that the use of asterisk in regards to the JGP Final qualification was redundant, as the information has already been clearly conveyed through the use of bold text, and the asterisk has not been used in any previous seasons, so removing it would make sense for consistency reasons. 202.36.244.42 (talk) 00:35, 6 October 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Bold print cannot be used as the sole means of conveying information, so something else must be used either instead or in addition. Previous seasons’ articles may not be in compliance with the Manual of Style, but that is no justification for continuing to render them non-compliant in the present.
