The Chicago Bears may have won just one game this season, but the past 12 hours or so have been actually very positive for the organization.

Obviously, outside of Dick Butkus passing, the fans should be pleased about the latest turn of events, as they just moved on from a disgruntled player as well.

According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, the Bears have traded WR Chase Claypool to the Miami Dolphins.

Claypool was a healthy scratch in last Sunday’s loss to the Denver Broncos, and the team has been trying to move on from him since then.

That’s not much of a surprise, considering that Claypool bashed the team’s coaches and the way they’ve handled him and the offense, so he now gets a fresh start in one of the game’s most explosive offenses.

Claypool has a privileged build and athletic traits, but his work ethic and character have often been questioned, dating back to his days with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

He failed to live up to the hype since arriving in Chicago, and while coaching undeniably had a lot to do with that, there were also reports about him not being entirely on board with the team.

Despite his youth and evident upside, this might be Claypool’s last chance to establish himself in the league.

The Dolphins boast a run-and-gun, fast-paced offense with plenty of touches for everyone, so it’ll be up to him to make the most of his snaps.

As for the Bears, they’ve actually fared much better offensively without him.
