Although they have suffered two blowout losses, the Pittsburgh Steelers have been relatively competitive to start this season, and they currently hold a 2-2 record.

They will face a stiff test this weekend when they host the Baltimore Ravens, who are 3-1 and looking like the class of the AFC North.

While quarterback Lamar Jackson looks rejuvenated after receiving his five-year, $260 million contract during the offseason, rookie wide receiver Zay Flowers has given the team and its fanbase lots of excitement and hope for the future.

Pittsburgh head coach Mike Tomlin recently gave Flowers lots of praise, per Ryan Mink.

Through four games, Flowers has 244 yards on 24 catches, and he has become Baltimore’s new No. 1 wide receiver.

Prior to this season, Baltimore was starved for a legitimate threat at the position — last year, they didn’t have a single wideout who reached as many as 500 receiving yards.

Flowers, who was the No. 22 pick in April’s draft, had 1,077 yards and 12 touchdowns last year at Boston College and was considered one of the best at his position in his rookie class.

Still, the Ravens are one legitimate WR short of being a legitimate Super Bowl contender, as free agent pickup Odell Beckham Jr. thus far looks like a faded version of his pre-injury self.

But their defense and running game are strong, and they will look to hand Tomlin’s Steelers a loss in Week 5 and force them to go under .500 on the season.

Afterward, the Steelers will have a bye in Week 6 before playing some winnable games over the next few weeks.
