It seems that many NBA stars are rooting for the Colorado Buffaloes.

On Saturday morning, Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce were spotted on the field before the big college showdown between USC and Colorado.

And, according to Cameron Tabatabaie, Boston Celtics stars Derrick White and Jaylen Brown were in attendance too.

White, who is from Colorado, was decked out in Buffaloes gear.

“@dwhite921 got me on the CU wave today,” Brown posted on social media with pictures of the field and packed stadium as well as White rooting on his team.

White was surely enthusiastically cheering for the team.

He also likely talked about the upcoming season with Brown as they enjoyed the game.

White is about to enter perhaps the most monumental season of his career.

When the Celtics lost Marcus Smart months ago, head coach Joe Mazzulla confirmed that White would step up and become the team’s starting point guard.

He started in many games last season – 70 out of 82 – but this is still a massive responsibility and opportunity.

The Celtics have been on the verge of going all the way for the last few seasons.

Brown and Jayson Tatum have anchored the team’s lineup and powered its offense but Smart was a major part of that too.

The loss of Smart could hurt the team in an enormous way so it’s vital that White quickly slides into rotation with confidence.

White is hoping to prove himself to the loyal Celtics fanbase with the new role he has earned.
