The Dallas Cowboys made a big splash in the offseason by revamping their already impressive receiving corps with the addition of Brandin Cooks.

However, perhaps their biggest reinforcement in the WR room will come from within, as Michael Gallup is expected to be back to full strength from the opening drive.

The talented wide receiver recently talked about his preparation for the upcoming season, and it’s nothing similar to what he went through one year ago when he was still dealing with the hurdles of coming back from injury:

“I feel so good,” Gallup said, per Pro Football Network. “I just smile all the time. I keep telling folks that I just smile when I walk in here because I know it’s go-time soon.”

It’s been over a year since Gallup tore his ACL.

He couldn’t finish the 2021 season and wasn’t up to speed in 2022, managing to get just 424 yards and four scores on 39 catches, not to mention a career-low in YPG with just 10.9.

But now that he’s back to full strength, he expects to be the same speedster and playmaker he was when he first entered the league.

The Cowboys will have plenty of pass-catchers to make Dak Prescott’s job easy, with CeeDee Lamb joining the aforementioned Cooks and Gallup.

Youngsters KaVontae Turpin and Jalen Tolbert will also get some snaps.

They will also have a reliable workhorse back like Tony Pollard.

Once again, the only concern about this team’s offense will come from the quarterback position, as Prescott didn’t look good last season and struggled to take care of the football, and reports from training camp haven’t been exactly encouraging.
