Ever since the Los Angeles Chargers drafted quarterback Justin Herbert, the team has been one of the most talented squads in the NFL, with some believing this team could be a Super Bowl title contender every single year.

With the Chargers figuring out quickly that Herbert is the real deal under center, the team has gone all out to put as much talent around him and on the defensive side of the football in order to maximize their chances of winning it all.

So far, things haven’t gone as planned, with the Chargers either not making the playoffs or falling short in epic fashion during the NFL playoffs.

It seems as though star pass rusher Joey Bosa has had enough of failed expectations in Los Angeles, as he got candid about his plans for the immediate future with the start of the 2023 NFL season less than a week away via JPA Football.

“Every year, I want to play great. I want to help my team. I think that, more than ever, I just want to win some games,” Bosa said

With Herbert recently getting a lucrative long-term contract extension that’ll make him a very wealthy man, the pressure will be on him and Bosa to get this talented team back on track as legitimate Super Bowl title contenders in the AFC.

Although the devastating playoff loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars is likely still fresh in their minds, it can lead to a lot of motivation heading into the 2023 campaign to finally live up to expectations and become the team to beat in the conference.

Only time will tell if things will come together for the Chargers, but a well-paid Herbert and a confident Bosa are a good start.
