Stats Show Mike Evans Has Had Notable 9-Year Run
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers haven’t been the best or most consistent team in the NFL over the past decade or so.
But regardless of who was under center for them, one thing was sure: Mike Evans was going to dominate.
Since 2014, the Buccaneers have started Josh McCown, Mike Glennon, Jameis Winston, Ryan Fitzpatrick, and Tom Brady, and Evans has logged at least 1,000 receiving yards in every season regardless of who was throwing him the football (via NFL on ESPN).

He’s one of the most underrated and under-appreciated players in the game, and it seems like not even his own team values him enough.
Evans and his camp gave the Bucs an ultimatum to get him a new lucrative contract before September 9, stating that they’ve been trying to get a deal done for a year now.
Otherwise, Evans could either walk away as a free agent or be traded at some point in the season and whichever team gets him would be getting a major contributor to the passing game.
Standing at 6-foot-5, 225 pounds, Evans is a perennial physical mismatch, and there aren’t many guys who could hold their own against him one-on-one.
He’s also a major threat in the end zone, and while he’s never a part of the best WR in the league conversation, he should definitely crack the top 10.
Will the Bucs try to do right by him and keep him around for the remainder of his career?
Or will they try and save some bucks and allow him to pursue another Super Bowl somewhere else?
That’s the big question right now.
