The AFC is commonly viewed as a better conference than the NFC.

Several young quarterbacks have taken over their respective teams, bringing them to new highs.

This has included Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills, who have established themselves as a top AFC roster.

However, Emmanuel Acho recently declared the Bills “were amongst the AFC’s elite” in an appearance on FS1’s “Speak.”

Acho was quick to clarify this statement, as he doesn’t believe the Bills are a bad team.

He did question the meaning of the word “elite,” however, saying “60% of the AFC can’t be elite.”

Throughout the offseason, analysts, including Acho, have talked about at least nine teams as the top rosters in the conference.

Acho declared the Kansas City Chiefs and Cincinnati Bengals as truly “elite” while saying the other teams are next on the list.

He also mentioned the Bills are starting to “regress towards the pack,” indicating they are no longer on the same level as the Bengals and Chiefs.

The Bills face a tough road this year, especially when considering their division.

Aaron Rodgers has joined the New York Jets, a move many believe will propel them into the playoffs.

The Miami Dolphins have struggled with health concerns but could pose a difficult challenge if they pull it all together.

While the New England Patriots aren’t given widespread high praise, their defense will likely give Allen and the Bills some headaches.

With all of this said, and with Acho’s comments in mind, can the Bills figure it out, silencing their doubters?
