The Pittsburgh Steelers have always been one of the NFL’s best and most consistent teams since Mike Tomlin took over as head coach, though they’ve found themselves struggling to keep up in recent years.

The rest of the AFC has gotten better while the Steelers have been searching for answers offensively.

Kenny Pickett is projected as the team’s starting quarterback for the foreseeable future, though he needs more time to grow and develop in the role.

However, the young signal caller will have a variety of weapons to throw to during the 2023 season.

Diontae Johnson remains one of the most underrated wide receivers in the league, while the team also went out and got Allen Robinson via trade from the Los Angeles Rams.

However, the future of the wideout room is George Pickens who drew praise from Robinson via Jim Rome.

Robinson is high on Pickens’ long-term prospects as he said that the sky is the limit for the young receiver.

While Robinson goes on to praise the rest of the wideouts on the Steelers roster, he singles out Pickens because of his talent and upside.

The second-year receiver made an impact in his rookie season and has a real opportunity to take a leap in 2023 as he’ll be looked to more in the passing game.

With his blend of size and skill, Pickens is a mismatch for most defensive backs and provides Pickett with a safe target to throw to.

Hopefully, Robinson’s evaluation is right and Pickens is able to realize his potential.
