The Pittsburgh Steelers will head into the 2023 NFL season as the least talked about team in the AFC North division, with the Cleveland Browns, Baltimore Ravens, and Cincinnati Bengals all getting more attention than Mike Tomlin’s squad.

Even though this is an unusual position for the six-time Super Bowl champions, the Steelers can take advantage of not having the spotlight on them, with this Pittsburgh squad being as promising as they come in the NFL.

Along with T.J. Watt leading the way on defense, the Steelers might have the real deal in second-year quarterback Kenny Pickett under center, as he has the confidence of Tomlin and the entire organization moving forward, which is telling, to say the least.

Despite being a talented football team on both sides of the ball and being well coached, Mark Kaboly of The Athletic thinks next year will be the Steelers’ season to shine, as he said on “The Rich Eisen Show.”

Kaboly seems to believe that not everything will come together in 2023 for the Steelers and that things will be very difficult during the upcoming campaign, playing in an incredibly tough division and an even tougher conference.

However, Kaboly believes in 2024, the Steelers could be the team to beat as things might start to come together, making for a dominant football team with a franchise quarterback leading the way and everything firing on all cylinders.

It’ll be interesting to see how things go this year for the Steelers and if the team shows promise for a bright future in 2024.
