About a month ago, Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James and his family got the scary news that Bronny James had suffered a cardiac arrest and collapsed on the floor during USC practice.

Fortunately, Bronny was rushed to the hospital and taken care of quickly enough to prevent any further damage and was released from the ICU shortly after that.

However, this placed a lot of doubt on whether Bronny could continue pursuing his dream of playing for the USC Trojans and eventually entering the NBA Draft in the near future.

On Friday, a detailed report and statement were issued by a spokesperson for the James family that talked about the probable cause for Bronny’s cardiac arrest, via Jeff Borzello of ESPN.

Overall, it seems like things are headed in the right direction for Bronny and his family, as he’ll be able to continue his basketball career while pursuing his dream of being an NBA player one day and possibly playing alongside his father at one point.

The real question now will be when Bronny can get back on the floor and play for the University of Southern California, as he likely won’t want to miss any more time than he has to, but obviously, health comes first.

It’ll be interesting to see how things develop on this front as Bronny’s basketball career will continue to be watched closely from here on out with hopes of him being able to get back to form and continue the family’s legacy in the sport.
