Liscarroll (Irish: Lios Cearúill, meaning ‘Carroll’s ringfort‘)[2] is a village in County Cork, Ireland. The village is on the R522 regional road near Mallow and Buttevant about two miles south of River Awbeg. Liscarroll is within the Cork North-West (Dáil constituency). Liscarroll is approximately 51 km to Cork City and 53 km to Limerick City, Liscarroll was once considered to be the cross roads of Munster.
