LeBron James Pays Homage To Kobe Bryant At Lakers Facility
August 24 has become an important day in the city of Los Angeles, with it now being called Mamba Day in honor of the late, great Kobe Bryant, who helped lead the Los Angeles Lakers to five NBA championships during his two decades playing for the iconic franchise.
During Mamba Day, Lakers fans around the world pay their respects to one of the greatest basketball players of all time, who left just as much of an impact off the court as he did on it, as he remains a constant source of inspiration for anyone striving to achieve their goals.
Mamba Day has only been around for a few years now, but it has become more and more of an event from one year to the next, with everyone showing their love and support for the superstar who tragically died in 2020.
Current Lakers superstar LeBron James was among the many NBA players past and present to show some love for the legendary figure by posing for a picture under Bryant’s retired numbers at the team’s practice facility in El Segundo, via ClutchPoints.

Even though Bryant has been gone for three years now, he is still very much alive in the city of Los Angeles and worldwide, as he continues to inspire with the legacy he left behind and his famous Mamba mentality.
Along with all the love shown by his fans, peers, and former teammates, an announcement was made by the Lakers organization on Thursday that Bryant will be honored with a statue outside of Crypto.com Arena on February 2, 2024.
