Everyone can agree that Chris Paul is one of the most talented NBA point guards of all time.

But what does he actually bring to the Golden State Warriors?

Fans have been wondering that often, especially lately as the new season approaches.

Speaking on Gil’s Arena, Warriors superstar Steph Curry said that Paul has “elevated teams” in the past and will do the same with Golden State.

“He connects a lot of lineups for us, in terms of being able to help some of the young guys figure out what it means to play winning basketball and be in the right spots,” Curry said.

The Warriors are going to rely on Paul for his skills, his basketball IQ, his experience, and the influence all of that will have on other players in Golden State, especially younger ones.

Curry is right when he says that Paul has elevated other teams.

He becomes a team leader for just about every squad that he joins.

That is why some people were confused when he was signed by the Warriors.

Golden State already has a capable and supremely talented leader in Curry so what role will Paul play?

During this interview, Curry opened up and said there were still many questions to answer.

For example, it’s still not clear if Paul will start.

However, Curry did suggest that there will be times when he and Paul are on the floor at the same time.

Hopefully, Steve Kerr and his staff are hard at work finding answers to that question and others.

As he has with other teams, Paul is bringing a lot of talent and potential.

How will it all pay off?
