Jets Veteran Sends A Strong Message To Team About Aaron Rodgers
The New York Jets will have a new guy under center for the upcoming season, and what a guy.
Aaron Rodgers is one of the greatest, most efficient passers the game of football has ever seen, and plenty of that has to do with his ability to make his receivers better.
Likewise, he doesn’t like when his wideouts make him look bad, which is why he won’t hesitate to send them to his doghouse if that’s what it comes down to.
That’s why veteran WR Randall Cobb — who knows Rodgers pretty well from their days with the Green Bay Packers — wanted everybody in the Jets’ WR corps to do better.
Following an unimpressive practice, Cobb warned his colleagues about taking their games up a notch before Rodgers loses his temper, adding that he’s just not going to throw them the football if he doesn’t trust them to run the right route (via BR Gridiron).
“If he don’t trust you, he not gonna throw you the ball.”

Cobb claimed that they just can’t have those little mistakes when things actually count, as Rodgers won’t have any of that.
Rodgers isn’t exactly an easy-going guy, and he won’t hesitate to call his teammates out if he feels like they’re not giving their best effort on the field.
Having a future Hall of Famer on the team is expected to raise the team’s ceiling, but that means the rest of the team also needs to step up.
The Jets have almost everything they need to thrive, all they have to do now is prove it.
