Going into each NFL season there are always storylines that people want to watch for.

One of the best this season will be Aaron Rodgers’ first season as the New York Jets’ quarterback.

After spending the last 18 years in Green Bay, Rodgers is looking forward to a fresh start.

But, the expectations for Rodgers in New York are sky-high.

He is expected to play like an elite quarterback every game in a Jets uniform.

One reporter even thinks Rodgers is in for another MVP season.

Jori Epstein of Yahoo Sports thinks Rodgers can win another MVP now that more talent is surrounding him.

It is not hard to see a path to another MVP for Rodgers.

He gets a strong receiving corps in New York led by Garrett Wilson.

Also, the Jets are expected to have one of the best defenses in the NFL.

Last season, Rodgers looked like a shell of himself.

Part of that could be because he did not have a great set of receivers to throw to.

Wilson is one player that many people compare to former Packers wide receiver Davante Adams.

Last season, Wilson won Offensive Rookie of the Year.

He did so by catching passes from the likes of Zach Wilson, Mike White, and Joe Flacco.

Now that he is working with Rodgers, Wilson should be one of the top breakout players in the NFL.

Anything short of a Super Bowl appearance will be a disappointment in New York.

Rodgers will need to be great all season to get them there.
