On Thursday, the schedule for the upcoming NBA season was fully released, and fans of the Los Angeles Clippers are already complaining.

The team will have the most stretches of three games in four days, and it is something that can easily cause fatigue and possibly even injuries.

Analyst Brian Windhorst says that the Clippers have been the recipient of unfair scheduling from the league, via Legion Hoops on Twitter.

Strength of schedule may not matter in the NBA as much as it does in the NFL, but it can still be a factor, as some teams are given very rough stretches of action.

The Clippers will likely hit the court this coming season with largely the same roster they had during the 2022-23 campaign, and it may not be good enough to fulfill the lofty expectations that have always surrounded them.

Ever since Kawhi Leonard and Paul George arrived four years ago, they have often been the overwhelming favorites to win it all, but all they have to show for those prognostications is one trip to the Western Conference Finals during that time.

Leonard and George have been particularly injury-prone the last few years, and neither has been fully healthy during the past two postseasons.

In 2023, they fell to the Phoenix Suns in the first round of the playoffs, and the year before, they collapsed in the Play-In Tournament against the New Orleans Pelicans.

From all outward indications, the Clippers will not give up on their current core for quite some time, and injuries have given them a convenient excuse for their shortcomings over the last few years.
