Shriya Lohia (born 7 May 2008)[1] is a talented and promising Racing Driver from India. At the age of 15, she has already completed five years in the field of motorsports, having started her journey at the remarkably young age of 9[2]. Throughout her career, she has actively participated in numerous national and international karting championships, demonstrating exceptional skill and determination.
Her dedication and passion for motorsports have yielded remarkable results, with multiple podium finishes to her name. The Federation of Motorsports Clubs of India (FMSCI) has recognized her outstanding performances by awarding her three times for her achievements in the sport.[2]
In 2022, Shriya’s excellence in motorsports was honored with the prestigious Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar, a national award in India that celebrates exceptional achievements and contributions by young individuals in various fields.[2]
Despite her young age, Shriya Lohia remains deeply committed to her career in motorsports, with a specific dream of becoming one of India’s few Formula One Drivers. Shriya Lohia was born on 7th May 2008 in India, and she hails from Himachal. She did her schooling from Indira National School Pune[3] till 6th grade and then switched to homeschooling as it was easier alongside for her racing career. She comes from a multi-talented family, where her father, Ritesh Lohia, is a sports enthusiast. Shriya has a sister who is a shooter, and her mother is an entrepreneur[4].
