The Jacksonville Jaguars established themselves as a team that should not be taken lightly last season.

But in 2023, they are looking to take their game up a notch.

The Jags are hoping to go from being a good story to being true Super Bowl contenders.

Last season, the Jags lost in the AFC Divisional round to the Kansas City Chiefs.

But, they showed they could compete with the top dogs in the conference.

Also, they have gotten even better this offseason.

The team got back suspended wide receiver Calvin Ridley, who has looked fantastic in training camp.

Former Jaguars running back Fred Taylor is excited for this upcoming season.

He brought on quarterback Trevor Lawrence to his podcast “The Pivot” to discuss Ridley and the upcoming season.

Lawrence talked about how Ridley has been chomping at the bit to get going and is excited to play.

Ridley was suspended all of last season after violating the NFL’s gambling policy.

He was traded from the Atlanta Falcons to the Jaguars in the middle of the season and expectations for him are now sky-high.

When at his best, Ridley has shown he can be one of the best wide receivers in football.

Back in 2020, Ridley caught 90 passes for 1,374 yards and nine touchdowns.

He was named a second-team All-Pro that year.

It will be interesting to see how long it will take Ridley to get back into the flow of an NFL game.

Stepping away for so long could be a problem for some players.

But, all signs point to the 28-year-old having a monster season.
