It seems like the Las Vegas Raiders may have dodged a big bullet.

According to a report by Dov Kleiman, Davante Adams might not need to miss an extended period of time.

Apparently, the former Green Bay Packers star will practice today.

Adams’ status was in jeopardy after he suffered a right leg injury during Friday’s joint practice with the San Francisco 49ers.

Multiple outlets voiced their concerns after the Fresno State product had to leave early after taking a hit from Niners CB Charvarius Ward shortly after the beginning of some 11-on-11 drills.

Adams reportedly struggled to get back on his feet and was immediately attended to by staff members and trainers.

He got up under his own power but was still limping and favoring his right leg.

Adams was later taken to the locker room to undergo further testing.

Fortunately, it seems like there’s nothing to worry about now, although reports state that he’s wearing a sleeve around his right shin, so that might be the most affected area.

Following the on-field assessment, the decision was made for Adams to head to the locker room for a more comprehensive evaluation of his condition.

Needless to say, losing their best player would be a massive blow for a Raiders team that could struggle mightily to get much going next season, especially if Josh Jacobs isn’t on the field either.

Adams posted his usual numbers despite not having Aaron Rodgers under center anymore, but he may not be as lucky with Jimmy Garoppolo now as his quarterback.
