The Dallas Cowboys found themselves a generational talent when they got Micah Parsons.

It didn’t take long before Dan Quinn realized he had something special with the Penn State product, and he’s made the most of his unique skill set.

Whether it’s rushing the passer, dropping back in coverage, stopping the run, or whatnot, Parsons has been a force to be reckoned with since he entered the league.

That’s why, as great as Aaron Donald has been, is, and will be for as long as he’s in the league, ESPN analyst Courtney Cronin believes he’s the best defender in the game right now, and will continue to be so for the remainder of his career, via “First Take.”

Cronin pointed out how quickly he goes at the opposing quarterback, and even though he doesn’t get the sack all the time, he disrupts everything around him.

Moreover, she claims that the Cowboys use him as a “chess piece,” meaning you have to plan for whatever role he gets, as he can line up pretty much everywhere on the defensive side of the field.

Parsons has excelled as both a linebacker and an edge defender, and he’s got a great nose to get to the opposing quarterback, not to mention a quick first step and unmatched physical toughness.

The Cowboys offense might struggle again with Dak Prescott under center next season, but they will still have a chance to win for as long as they have Parsons wreaking havoc near the line of scrimmage.
