A Set Of Giants Twins Are Having A Special Season
The San Francisco Giants have been surprisingly solid this season.
They have a 62-52 record, without any offensive stars and with Logan Webb leading the way in the rotation.
Part of their success also stems from their excellent relief corps.
There, a set of twins are providing the team with a lefty and a righty option for high-leverage innings.
Taylor Rogers is one of the most efficient left-handed relievers in baseball, while his brother Tyler offers a unique delivery that is brutal for right-handed hitters.

MLB’s official Twitter feed highlighted them and showed the world how dominant they have been.
In fact, their numbers are very much alike.
Taylor has a 2.52 ERA, while Tyler is at 2.54.
Their WHIP is identical, at 1.09.
Taylor also has 46 strikeouts, close to Tyler’s tally of 45.
It’s one of those extremely cool statistical oddities that make the game more fun and exciting.
They have joined forces with other dominant reliever such as Camilo Doval, John Brebbia, Scott Alexander, Ryan Walker, and others.
A good bullpen is the foundation of a modern postseason powerhouse, and the Giants have put together a nice unit.
This is a pesky team that has the tools to win a lot of close games.
They are currently five games behind the Los Angeles Dodgers in the NL West, but are in possession of one of the Wild Card spots in the National League.
The Giants won’t wow you with 12 or 15 runs scored per game, but their pitching staff is very capable.
The Rogers twins are a big reason why.
