The 2022 Crooks Fire was a wildfire in Yavapai County, Arizona, which occurred between April 18 to June 27, 2022.[1][2][3] The wildfire started 11 miles (18 km) south of the city of Prescott, Arizona.[1][4] In a finalized report from the National Centers for Environmental Information and various park and forest services, it was stated that the Crooks Fire was 96% contained on May 25.[1] However, due to inaccessible terrain, it took until June 27 to contain the remaining 4% of the wildfire.[1]
