2023 Major League Wrestling professional wrestling event
Fury Road (2023) is the upcoming fourth Fury Road professional wrestling supercard event produced by Major League Wrestling (MLW). It will take place on September 3, 2023, at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and will air live on PPV. The event will feature the MLW debut of Matt Cardona.

Fury Road is a professional wrestling supercard event produced by Major League Wrestling (MLW). The event was first held in 2018 as a television taping for MLW’s weekly program, Fusion. On May 2, 2023, a new partnership between MLW and FITE was announced to air live MLW events through FITE+ with Fury Road airing on September 3 at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.[1]
Storylines[edit]
The card will consist of matches that resulted from scripted storylines, where wrestlers portray villains, heroes, or less distinguishable characters in scripted events that built tension and culminated in a wrestling match or series of matches, with results predetermined by MLW’s writers. Storylines are played out on MLW’s television programs, Underground Wrestling and Fusion, and the league’s social media platforms.[2]
At Never Say Never, the first two rounds of the 2023 MLW Open Draft were held, with Kevin Blackwood and Matt Cardona being drafted. Both men would later be announced making their MLW debut at Fury Road.[3][4]
On the July 20 episode of Fusion, Mister Saint Laurent, Cardona’s new manager, was on the receiving end of a beating from Mance Warner after he betrayed his former charge Microman.[5] The following week, Laurent challenged Warner to a match at Fury Road on Cardona’s behalf, which…
