The Cincinnati Bengals recently extended one of their players, although it wasn’t one that many fans expected.

Logan Wilson was signed to a four-year extension worth up to $37.25 million.

While this contract might seem limiting to some fans, Wilson provided some insight into what this means for his teammates.

According to The Score, Wilson said “We are all rooting for each other,” adding “The whole team camaraderie we have is just rare.”

Wilson seems positive that their core will stay together.

Many of the Bengals’ stars are not extended, including Joe Burrow, Ja’Marr Chase, and Tee Higgins.

Burrow has recently gotten injured in training camp, which could put his immediate extension in jeopardy.

For Higgins and Chase, one, if not both of them are expected to sign before the season begins.

Many around the league believe the Bengals have one of the league’s top receiving corps, especially given Burrow’s brilliance as a passer.

When a team employs many young stars, it can be difficult to keep them together long-term.

Burrow will almost certainly get a massive contract, evidenced by Jalen Hurts, Lamar Jackson, and Justin Herbert’s latest deals.

He and Hurts are the only two quarterbacks in that company to appear in a Super Bowl.

The question about Burrow’s contract is not a matter of if, but when.

For Chase and Higgins, more questions need to be answered about their futures.

The next several weeks should be very telling for the organization as they aim for another AFC Championship appearance.
