2 Teams Emerge As Potential Josh Jacobs Landing Spots

Recently, New York Giants star running back Saquon Barkley agreed to a one-year deal with the team to get him on the field for the 2023 NFL season, as he’s expected to make $11 million with incentives that can bump that number by $2 million.

Along with Barkley, Pollard signed his franchise tag with the Dallas Cowboys and will make a little over $10 million for the upcoming season.

However, Josh Jacobs and the Las Vegas Raiders continue to be in a stalemate, with the two sides unable to see eye-to-eye.

Jacobs has sat out of Raiders training camp due to his contract situation, and it’s hard to blame him because there’s no point in jeopardizing his health.

With the two sides in a holding pattern, other teams have started to take notice, especially in the AFC West, with the Kansas City Chiefs and Denver Broncos interested in Jacobs if things continue to go south with the Raiders, according to Pro Football Talk via Dov Kleiman of BroBible.

Over the past week or so, there have been conflicting reports about where the team and the All-Pro running back stand when it comes to this contract situation in Las Vegas.

One report said the Raiders are ready to start talking about a contract with Jacobs again, and another report said nothing has changed since the two sides couldn’t come to terms on a new deal ahead of the deadline for franchise-tagged players.

It seems that this situation is getting uglier and uglier as the start of the 2023 NFL gets closer and closer.
