Josh Hart Welcomes New Knicks Addition To The Team

Josh Hart of the New York Knicks knows a thing or two about new recruit Donte DiVincenzo.

Hart and DiVincenzo played together at Villanova, alongside Jalen Brunson, also of the Knicks.

Because of his personal experience and friendship with DiVincenzo, Hart has the belief that he will fit in perfectly with the team and the loyal fanbase.

“New York is gonna love him. He’s definitely a guy that we needed and we wanted,” Hart said of DiVincenzo, according to SNY.

Hart referred to his new teammate as a “New York-style player” who is “blue collar” and “hard-working” and will “help us win games.”

That is all Knicks fans want to hear.

They quickly took a liking to Hart last season, just as they took one to Brunson as well.

For years, New York fans have been eager to see their team truly compete again and they are thankful for any player who will make that happen.

Hart knows what he is talking about: DiVincenzo really could be a difference-maker for the Knicks.

He is known for his ability to post spot-up three-pointers but he is also celebrated for his solid defensive skills too.

As noted by Hart, DiVincenzo can be capable of slowing down a variety of players, despite their size and position.

He will also work very well alongside his old Villanova teammates.

Team chemistry is very important for the Knicks.

Brunson is an example of that: he greatly helped the squad feel more like a cohesive unit, bringing everyone together and assisting them with finding their roles within the rotation.

The front office wants another player who can bring the team closer together.

The addition of DiVincenzo might not just help the Knicks on the scoreboard but also in the locker room and on the sidelines too.
