Ahead of the 2023 NFL season, the Dallas Cowboys are making a lot of noise across the league, but this time it is not about star quarterback Dak Prescott and the offense.

This year it is all about the defense, with Micah Parsons putting them in the conversation for having the best defense in the league in 2023.

However, the Cowboys’ offense isn’t expected to be bad; it’s just expected to be overshadowed by how dominant the defense is expected to be.

Dallas will be a force to be reckoned with on both sides of the football, with Cowboys newcomer Brandon Cooks having one word to describe what to expect from the new-look offense, as he told Andrew Siciliano of NFL Network.

The Cowboys will be stacked offensively, with Cooks being the latest addition into the mix, along with rookie running back Deuce Vaughn.

Cooks has bounced around the league quite a bit over the years but has always been productive wherever he’s played and plans to do the same for the Cowboys while catching passes from Prescott.

Along with the addition of Cooks to the passing game, Dallas still has CeeDee Lamb leading the way in the receiving corps and Pro Bowl running back Tony Pollard coming out of the backfield.

If the defense is as formidable as many expect it will be during the upcoming season in Dallas, the pressure will be on for the Cowboys to produce offensively, which shouldn’t be too much of a challenge with all these talented players in 2023.
