The Minnesota Twins are a team that is reportedly in the market for some right-handed bats.

Minnesota leads the American League Central, but is only ahead of the Cleveland Guardians by one game.

The Twins are also just one game over the .500 mark.

However, right-handed hitting appears to be on their list.

Recently, the Seattle Mariners confirmed that they would be listening to offers on Teoscar Hernandez and Ty France.

According to Jon Morosi of MLB Network, the Twins are targeting both Hernandez and France.

Morosi confirmed this report of the Twins seeking out the two Mariners players on Twitter.

This would be an interesting move for the Twins.

The hitting market had been somewhat quiet leading up to Monday.

However, things started to move late in the day, and the same is expected to hold true for today’s deadline.

The Twins certainly have places to look if they’re going for right-handed bats, and Seattle would be one of them.

The team is set to begin a three-game series against the St. Louis Cardinals on Tuesday night at Busch Stadium.

The Cardinals are selling this year and have two such bats that could help the Twins, those being Paul DeJong and switch-hitter Dylan Carlson.

It’s clear that the Twins are in “buy mode” this year at the deadline and that they have an AL Central title in their sights.

Minnesota won the AL Central in 2019 and 2020, but have finished below .500 in each of the last two seasons.
