Former Pro-Bowler Says One Issue Will Ruin Bills’ Chances To Win This Season
Over the last few seasons, the Buffalo Bills have been one of the best teams in the NFL, and last season many were picking them to win the Super Bowl.
However, in the last three years, they haven’t gotten to the Super Bowl, and they have reached the AFC Championship Game only once.
The dark cloud hanging over the organization right now is the supposed beef between quarterback Josh Allen and star wide receiver Stefon Diggs.
Diggs sat out a day of the team’s mandatory minicamp earlier this offseason, which led to speculation that he’s unhappy not only with Allen but perhaps also with head coach Sean McDermott.
Former Pro Bowl wide receiver T.J. Houshmandzadeh says that the Diggs situation will prevent the Bills from finishing first in the AFC East this season.
He surmised that perhaps Diggs will not get the ball as much as he wants to and that he could create problems as a result.
“I don’t think Buffalo will win the division.”

Buffalo ranked second in both points scored and allowed in 2022, and Diggs is their main threat on offense who had 1,429 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns en route to his third straight Pro Bowl nod.
They’re a very balanced team, as they boast a nice WR2 in Gabriel Davis, a Pro Bowl tight end in Dawson Knox, and defensive studs in linebacker Matt Milano and safety Jordan Poyer.
But the Bills are an organization that has never won a world championship, and possessing the type of talent they do leads to high expectations, which can result in big disappointments each winter.
