No team in the NFL has gotten more attention, hype, and high expectations this offseason than the New York Jets, with the team bringing in four-time NFL MVP Aaron Rodgers to help right the ship during the 2023 campaign.

Along with the hype and added exposure comes the process of breaking down everything to the smallest detail for the Jets, with analysts and pundits looking for any cracks in the armor before, during, and after training camp.

Although the Jets look like one of the best offenses in the NFL on paper, with Rodgers now in the fold, New York may be sorely lacking in one crucial area that could ruin everything for the AFC East heavyweights in 2023.

According to Booger McFarland of ESPN, the Jets could be flawed on the offensive line, and that could prove costly for the newly acquired Rodgers and this potentially high-powered offense, via NFL on ESPN.

McFarland is right on the money with his assessment, as all this offensive firepower will be worth nothing if the team can’t protect Rodgers and create holes for the running game.

This is a critical point that a lot of casual fans tend to miss, especially when a team looks this good on paper, because the team can’t function at a high level if everything doesn’t mesh well and everyone isn’t playing at the same level.

It’ll be interesting to see how a potentially weak offensive line impacts the Jets and whether that problem may be addressed at some point during training camp.
