MLB Insider Reveals Yankees’ Trade Deadline Plans
The New York Yankees have been floundering ever since their captain and reigning American League MVP Aaron Judge went on the injured list at the beginning of June.
As such, the Yankees have found themselves in need of some outfield help at the trade deadline.
However, it appears that this is not the only area of concern for General Manager Brian Cashman.
According to Mark Feinsand of MLB.com, the Yanks are also looking to upgrade their starting rotation, the back end of their bullpen, and the catcher position.
Feinsand provided this update on the Yankees’ trade deadline plans on Twitter.
It has been well documented that the Yankees are seeking corner outfield help by the Trade Deadline, but according to sources, New York is also seeking to upgrade its catching, starting rotation and back end of the bullpen in the next two weeks.

Without Judge, the Yankees have been struggling and are now tied with the Boston Red Sox at the bottom of the AL East.
But there are several areas where the Yankees could look to add.
With the St. Louis Cardinals well out of contention, a reunion with left-hander Jordan Montgomery is possible.
In terms of the catcher position, New York already has Jose Trevino and Kyle Higashioka, but upgrades are still possible.
For the bullpen, the Yankees could also look to the Cardinals for help, as former Yankee Giovanny Gallegos could be on the block.
New York is nine games back of first place in the AL East.
However, they are only two games behind the defending World Series champion Houston Astros for the third and final Wild Card spot in the American League.
They’ll start a series with the struggling Los Angeles Angels on Monday.
Soon, more activity will take place as the stove heats up for trade season.
