After a short stint with the Golden State Warriors, guard Donte DiVincenzo is moving on once again in his NBA career, with the 26-year-old agreeing to a deal with the New York Knicks during NBA free agency.

Although DiVincenzo was only with the Warriors for one season, the veteran guard left his mark in the Bay Area with his solid play alongside Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson, earning him a four-year deal with the Knicks worth $50 million.

Even though he’s moving on in order to earn a big payday on the East Coast, the Villanova product is grateful for what his time with the Warriors has meant to him and his career.

With DiVincenzo heading to the Big Apple to reunite with college teammates Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart, the Warriors will move on, as they have acquired veteran guard Chris Paul, formerly of the Phoenix Suns.

Golden State acquired Paul in the wake of the blockbuster trade that sent Bradley Beal from the Washington Wizards to Phoenix.

The Wizards didn’t hold onto the future Hall of Famer for long, as he was sent to San Francisco in exchange for Jordan Poole, a controversial and bold move by Mike Dunleavy Jr. and company.

It’ll be interesting to see how everything pans out for all parties involved, as all these players will be heading into entirely different situations, but all are hoping to compete for a playoff spot next season.
