Freddie Freeman’s Son Enjoyed A Special Reunion In Seattle
Freddie Freeman, the star first baseman of the Los Angeles Dodgers since 2022, played for the Atlanta Braves from 2010 to 2021.
He spent parts of 12 seasons in Atlanta and built incredible memories.
Freeman was part of the tough times in the mid-2010s, but he won the MVP award in 2020 and the World Series a year later with the Braves.
He also had his first son in Atlanta, named Charlie.
Long story short, Freeman is a legend in Atlanta.
During the All-Star Game red carpet, Freeman was there with his family – including Charlie – when a familiar face showed up.
It was Blooper, the Braves’ mascot.
Charlie and Blooper, as you can probably imagine, are old friends.

Immediately after noticing Blooper was there, Charlie jogged in his direction and gave him a hug.
It was a wholesome moment for everyone involved, and you can see Freeman smiling in the video.
The Freemans loved Atlanta, and Atlanta loved them back.
It was a beautiful love story until 2021, when the team announced its intention to go younger by trading for (and then extending) first baseman Matt Olson.
It was a business decision, one that has worked out for everyone involved because the Braves are the best team in the league, Olson has been raking, and so has Freeman in Los Angeles.
However, the split was a bit traumatic for fans (and even for Freeman) when it happened, and it’s completely understandable.
Friends are forever, though, and the friendship between Charlie and Blooper will last for a very long time.
