The Philadelphia Phillies seem unable to lose road games.

They have won 13 straight on the road, tying a franchise record.

One reason for their success is because of some timely hitting.

That was the case in their most recent win in Miami against the Marlins.

The Phillies trailed, 3-2, with two outs in the top of the ninth inning.

So, Phillies manager Rob Thomson called on Cristian Pache to pinch hit.

Pache proceeded to hit a game-winning two-run home run off Marlins closer A.J. Puk.

The Phillies have been getting production from players all over their roster.

Any given night it could be someone else that helps them win a game.

Pache was someone the Phillies acquired in an early-season trade.

He has shown off many of the skills that made him a top prospect a few years back.

Pache usually only plays against left-handed pitchers but has been good at that.

He is batting .326 this season with two home runs and seven RBI in 30 games.

While Pache is mostly known for his elite glove, his bat is also starting to come around.

The Phillies’ recent hot streak has found them back in playoff position.

They are 48-39 on the year and hold the third and final Wild Card spot.

If the Phillies can get Trea Turner and Bryce Harper to play up to their capabilities, they could be a scary team to face.

Plenty of games remain in the season, but the Phillies seem to be meshing at the right time.
