:done It’s always good to provide a reliable source. I found one that looks reasonable, so I have implemented this edit request. If this source turns out to be false, other editors can correct my change. – Jonesey95 (talk) 14:33, 25 May 2023 (UTC)

Two conflicting paragraphs in “History” relating to the Evangelical Connexion
On the face of it (as a complete outsider) the paragraphs starting “In 2003” and “In 2020” appear to give conflicting information given that both seem to refer to the Evangelical Connexion, this confirmed by the Connexion’s website PeterR2 (talk) 20:37, 7 July 2023 (UTC)

January 2004. The Free Church of England has two dioceses in England, several congregations in New Zealand and a church in Russia – The Church of Christ the Saviour, St. Petersburg.

Parishes in England are concentrated in the north and south, though there remain three active parishes in the West Midlands – Emmanuel Church, Birmingham; St. Jude, Walsall and St. Andrew, Bentley.

Under discussion at the moment is a document entitled ‘Agenda for Renewal’, by the Rt. Rev Dr. J. B. Shucksmith, (retd); which among other things envisages the possibility of a modern language liturgy to supplement the use of the Book of Common Prayer (revised). An Alternative Services Measure already exists, which provides for the occasional use of Authorised Alternative Liturgies with the approval of the Diocesan Bishop.

The Rev. David Boulton,
Bishop’s Curate, Emmanuel Church, Birmingham.

While this article could do with having some references within the main body to sources, it is substantially a summary of information on the official website of The Free Church of England, on the external links list. I have no problem with the general reliability of this article.

The special service in September 2007 to commemorate the tercentenary of the birth of Lady Selina Shirley, Countess of Huntingdon, was very much a joint event with the Free Church of England and the Countess of Huntingdon’s Conexxion. Venue – St Helen’s Church, Ashby-de-la-Zouch. (I was there.) Robert of Ramsor (talk) 23:00, 11 March 2008 (UTC)Reply[reply]

The article currently states:

The Evangelical Connexion of the Free Church of England mentioned later does not support the FCE support of the term Evangelical Catholic and what they term it to mean.

Clarification from anyone who understands what this muddled sentence is trying to say would be very welcome! — Picapica (talk) 17:33, 17 October 2019 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Administrator’s comment: Editors with a conflict of interest should refrain from making any substantive changes to the content of this article, and instead propose changes on the talk page, particularly when such changes may be contested as they have been recently. Further disruption will result in the article being reverted back to an old revision and locked, so that anyone wanting to change it must propose the change on this talk page instead.

I have placed a COI tag on this article due to the blatant disregard for the WP:COI guidelines Wikipedia has. ~Anachronist (talk) 00:11, 1 April 2020 (UTC)Reply[reply]

I have a conflict of interest as I am the Bishop of the South American diocese. I have read this text in the Wikipedia article “In 2020 he will cease to…
