Trevor Lawrence has reignited the Jacksonville Jaguars fanbase, especially after leading them to the playoffs in 2022.

They did win their first game against the Los Angeles Chargers before falling to the Kansas City Chiefs, the eventual champions.

Now that Lawrence tapped into his potential last year, fans and analysts alike are expecting a similar result from the 2023 season.

In a recent article on the NFL’s website, Adam Rank highlights his expectations for the Jaguars.

“For 2023 to be a success, the Jaguars must make the playoffs,” Rank wrote.

Rank has a firm belief in the Jaguars this season, who were able to capture some magic last year.

As he indicates, “Jacksonville isn’t far away from joining the true elites in a stacked AFC.”

The AFC is filled with young rosters and elite quarterbacks and many believe that it is significantly stronger than the NFC.

Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen, and Joe Burrow are widely viewed as the top three in the eyes of many around the league.

Rank believes that Lawrence and the Jaguars could easily join them at the top, but it all begins this year.

Winning the division is a great start to making the playoffs, which is well within reach for the Jaguars.

The other three teams within the division either have major questions at the quarterback position or are starting rookies in that role this year.

This could lead to a relatively easy path for Lawrence and the Jaguars, considering they have an established rapport as a unit.
