The Clippers Are Reportedly Showing Interest In 2 Star NBA Players
The Los Angeles Clippers have been trying to get over the hump for quite a while now.
Steve Ballmer has made it more than clear that money will never be an issue when he’s in charge, but that hasn’t translated into a championship thus far.
That’s why they’re ready to do whatever it takes to get the job done once and for all this season.
With that in mind, the LA Times reports, via NBACentral, that they’re still keeping tabs on both James Harden and Damian Lillard, even after re-signing Russell Westbrook to a two-year deal.

Notably, Harden is reportedly pushing to be traded to the Clippers.
As for Lillard, he’s made it his priority to take his talents to South Beach and play for the Miami Heat.
Whatever the case, the chances of the Clippers getting one or the other without giving up Kawhi Leonard or Paul George are pretty much close to zero.
Westbrook, on the other hand, had already embraced a lesser role and even agreed to come off the bench when he was playing for the Los Angeles Lakers, so his presence shouldn’t be an issue if they manage to get one of the two scoring stars.
The Clippers might have to explore several avenues in order to get a deal done for either of them, as there’s no clear path for a trade as things stand now.
But we’ve seen crazier things happen in this league, and they’ve proven that they can be very aggressive when they really want to get a deal done.
