The Dallas Cowboys will head into training camp later this month with high hopes of getting this team ready for what could be an exciting and prosperous 2023 NFL season.

Although there’s been a lot of disappointment in the Dak Prescott era in Dallas regarding the team finding success in the playoffs, the Cowboys may have their most talented roster on both sides of the football in quite some time.

This time around, the defense is making all the noise in Dallas, with Micah Parsons becoming the next Lawrence Taylor while leading a defense that could be the best in the NFL in 2023.

With the defense potentially locked in for the upcoming season, the pressure will turn to Prescott once again to lead the offense and finally live up to expectations, which former offensive coordinator Kellen Moore believes he can do, as he has never seen a better leader, as he told Peter Schrager of Fox Sports.

Although Moore has moved on from the Cowboys to be the offensive coordinator for the Los Angeles Chargers, he still holds Prescott in incredibly high regard as Dallas tries to take a step closer to being a legitimate Super Bowl title contender in the NFC.

The kind of leader that Moore describes Prescott as is exactly what the Cowboys need moving forward in order to finally reach their elusive goal of being Super Bowl champions.

It remains to be seen if that leadership can get Dallas to the promised land, as time is ticking on Jerry Jones’ clock in terms of how much longer he’ll have faith in his starting quarterback.
