On Thursday, the All-Star Game starters for the American League and National League were revealed.

For the National League, one of those starters was Arizona Diamondbacks rookie Corbin Carroll.

Carroll made his Major League debut late last season and has found himself in the conversation for the National League Rookie of the Year Award.

Carroll is hitting .290 with 17 home runs, 44 RBI, and a .926 OPS.

The support Carroll received from D-Backs fans has not gone unnoticed either.

On Twitter, Carroll’s mother, Pey-Lin Carroll, posted a message thanking D-Backs fans for their support and expressing her excitement for the opportunity to see her son as an All-Star starter.

Carroll has proven to be one of the best players in all of baseball this season.

After making his debut last season, he has helped guide the D-Backs on an impressive run which has them at the top of the NL West with the second-best record in the National League behind the Atlanta Braves.

Now, he’ll have a chance to do something special.

Carroll is a native of Seattle, where the All-Star Game is being held this year.

The game will take place on Tuesday, July 11 at T-Mobile Park.

In a sense, Carroll will enjoy a nice homecoming for All-Star week.

But perhaps nobody is more excited about this opportunity than his mother, who has watched her son work incredibly hard throughout his life to achieve his dreams and become one of baseball’s brightest young stars.

And it’s safe to say that she is one proud mom.
