The ”National Catholic Register” was originally the national edition of the ”[[Denver Catholic Register]]”, the official weekly newspaper of the [[Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Denver|Diocese of Denver]]. The arrangement turned into a chain known as the ”’Register System of Newspapers”’.
