Jazz Chisholm Jr. Comments On His Dominant Return
The Miami Marlins have been playing great baseball for a while now.
That performance has them in second place of the NL East division at the moment, with a solid 46-34 record despite a -6 run differential.
The most surprising thing of it is that they have been without top player Jazz Chisholm Jr. for the last six weeks, and that hasn’t stopped them.
Now that they got him back, they could have another gear in them.
The dynamic player and cover star of the 2023 edition of MLB The Show went 3-for-4 with a double, two runs scored, and three RBI in Tuesday’s 10-1 win against the Boston Red Sox.
“‘I just came out here just to try to help my teammates get another W. man. They’ve been doing so well since I’ve been out, and I’m just glad to be back with them…I missed these guys.’ Jazz Chisholm Jr. speaks after his return to the lineup!” Bally Sports Florida tweeted, with Chisholm’s quotes.

A toe injury kept Chisholm away from the lineup for weeks, but that didn’t look like a problem when he hit a Garret Whitlock pitch to the Green Monster and raced around the bases.
His injury had bad timing because he was on the verge of breaking out of an early-season funk.
He is now slashing .243/.307/.419 in 40 games with seven homers, 14 steals, 18 runs, and 19 RBI.
If we consider last season’s performance (.254/.325/.535) as his ceiling, he still has much more to give the young Marlins.
He is one of the most important players as one of the few that can provide consistent offense, power, and speed.
