NFL Analyst Lists The Top Remaining Free Agents Available

NFL training camps will get underway next month, with all 32 teams in the league set to start preparing for the 2023 NFL season, which will begin on Sept. 7.

Although most teams in the league are done making moves to improve their rosters through NFL free agency, there are still a few potential game-changers left on the open market.

Usually, when players are unsigned at this point, those players still available, even the big-name players, will have to wait until teams trim down their rosters in training camp or injuries open up spots during the regular season.

According to Matt Bowen of ESPN via NFL on ESPN, here is the list of the top players still available in free agency.

Cook won’t last long as a free agent, as he has been named a Pro Bowler four years in a row and still produces at a high level, but the Minnesota Vikings weren’t willing to pay him, so they released him.

All signs point to Cook landing with the Miami Dolphins, which would form one of the most intimidating offenses in the NFL, as he’d join Tua Tagovailoa, Tyreek Hill, and Jaylen Waddle.

As for DeAndre Hopkins, the five-time All-Pro has found it challenging to find a new home in the league after being released by the Arizona Cardinals.

However, Hopkins has visits lined up with the Tennessee Titans and New England Patriots and may not be a free agent for much longer.

The rest of the players on the list are solid additions on the defensive side of the football but may have to wait a bit longer before they get a call from a team with interest.
